Dear Falls-Lenox Families,
Our week kicked off with the High School Girls Basketball Team walking through the building for a Clap Out on Monday! It was great to see our Falls-Lenox students cheer and congratulate our High School Girls! We then had a wonderful Right to Read Week with classes finishing The Wild Robot and each classroom creating their own island to represent the characters and setting of the book. Students went on a scavenger hunt today looking for objects on the islands throughout the school! Thank you to all of the Mystery Readers who visited classrooms this week and to our ECC/FL PTA for the wonderful author assemblies today! Also, a special thank you to all of the families who joined us last night for Family Literacy Night.
Next week, we will be having assemblies on Wednesday, March 27th sponsored by our PTA! The Real Pop Fusion company will be doing assemblies about the importance of being active and moving each day!
Also, next Thursday, March 28th will be Clelveland Guardians Day ~ Wear your Cleveland Guardians Gear or their colors - Red, White, and Blue!
Lastly, food service department asked that I let families know that next week, the cafeteria will be having PIZZA on Thursday, March 28th (since we have missed several Pizza Fridays, and it is a student favorite!)

Thank you to everyone who volunteered to make Right to Read Week a great success! The school looked incredible and really immersed students in the setting for The Wild Robot. It was great seeing students buzzing about the Book Fair choosing their next reading adventure!

In collaboration with Officer Swope, the following guidelines will help ensure the safety of our students. We appreciate your patience and help!
Children should enter/exit vehicles on the passenger side (directly near the sidewalk) only.
Please pull all the way forward to the white sign that says, "pull up here", so that we can keep the line moving.
Parents and Caregivers should remain in their vehicles.
Please exercise caution and drive slowly when pulling around cars that are loading/unloading to ensure the lane is clear.

School Day: 8:00-2:35
Tardy Bell: 7:55 a.m. (Students must be in their classrooms by 8:00 a.m. Students entering classrooms after 8:00 a.m. will be marked tardy.)
Office Hours: 7:30-3:30 (You can leave a message after 3:30 p.m.)
Note: If your child is a car-rider, doors open at 7:35 a.m. and are open until 7:55 a.m. The side doors are locked at 7:55 a.m. If your child is coming to school after 7:55 a.m., they will need to enter through the front doors. If your child plans to eat breakfast, please have them at school by 7:45. Students cannot enter prior to 7:35 am.
School Fees:
Grades 1-2: $90.00 Total
Grade 3: has an additional $25 for a Chromebook Device fee
$7.00 - Art supplies
$16.00 - Field Trips/activities
$25.00 - Technology (Reading A-Z, RAZ Kids, SeeSaw, Compass Learning)
$42.00 - Instructional (Bridges Math Workbook, Science Fusion Workbook, Handwriting workbook, Scholastic News, etc.)

Clinic Policy - Please do not send your child to school with a fever, diarrhea, or more than 2 of the following symptoms: cough, shortness of breath, chills, fever, sore throat, loss of taste or smell, headache, diarrhea. Students cannot return to school after a fever or diarrhea until they have gone 24 hours symptoms free (without tylenol for a fever). Call off your child using our attendance line: 440-427-6411.
