Dear Falls-Lenox Families,
Congratulations to our second graders and Mr. LaFlamme for outstanding music concerts on Tuesday evening! The students sounded great and did an excellent job at their first concert on the High School auditorium stage!

We look forward to seeing you and your child learning (and playing!) together at this event!
Our word of the month for December is Empathy, and our Terrific Kids are holding a "Cozy Collection" this month. We are collecting new coats, hats, mittens, socks, and scarves. These items will go directly back to our Falls-Lenox students in need.
We are holding Silver Linings Day on December 9, 10, 11th. This event is for grandfriends of our 2nd grade students. Please RSVP HERE - 2025 REGISTRATION LINK- JOIN US FOR SILVER LININGS DAY
We are excited for our Building-Wide Winter "Wonder"Land on Wednesday, December 17th! Students should wear blue, silver, white or clothes that represent winter! Winter "Wonder"land is an introduction to student-directed inquiry, which is building instruction out of children's curiosity and wonder. It involves kids investigating and exploring, connected to students' passions or the curriculum. Wonder walls capture and honor students' questions that can be returned to for further investigation at a later time. If your child is in 2nd or 3rd grade, please help them to develop a topic or question that they would like to research and learn more about. First grade teachers will be supporting students and modeling the process.
As the weather is now getting cold, please make sure that your child comes to school with a winter coat, hat, and gloves. Students go outside for recess when the "feels like" temperature is 25 degrees and above.
School fees have been posted to your child's account. Payment of school fees is required in order for your child to attend field trips. If you have any questions about your child's school fees, please contact our main office at 440-427-6400.
If at any time you have questions, concerns, or comments, please feel free to contact the main office at 440-427-6400.
Sincerely,
Lisa Williams
Principal

Dear Families
We’re kicking off something exciting this year at Olmsted Falls City Schools—and we want YOU on our team! We’re proud to announce our new partnership with the Cleveland Browns Foundation as part of the Stay in the Game! Attendance Network.
The Stay in the Game! program is all about helping students come to school every day, ready to learn and grow. Why? Because being in school regularly makes a BIG difference—especially for our youngest learners! When students miss too many days, it can be hard to catch up on learning, build friendships, and stay connected.
It’s a statewide program that works with schools and families to help kids:
Build strong attendance habits
Stay excited about school
Celebrate small wins and progress along the way
And yes—there will be fun events, surprises, and special moments throughout the year inspired by our hometown football team, the Cleveland Browns!
Missing just 2 days a month adds up to over 3 weeks of missed learning each year.
Regular routines help young children feel safe, confident, and successful.
Showing up every day builds the habits and skills that last a lifetime.
We know that life can be busy, and sometimes things come up. That’s why we’re here to support you with resources, encouragement, and creative solutions to help your child “stay in the game” all year long.
Let’s make this school year one full of learning, growth, and Bulldog spirit! When we work together, great things happen—for our kids and our community.
Thanks for being part of our team!
Go Browns! Go Bulldogs!
Sincerely,
Lisa Williams
Principal
