Dear Falls-Lenox Families,
It has been a great week at Falls-Lenox! Today our third graders had a wonderful experience at the Severance Hall hearing the Cleveland Orchestra perform, along with performances by the Cleveland ballet!
So far we have received 220 responses to the parent survey that was sent out this week. If you have not had a chance to provide us with your feedback, please take a few minutes to complete the survey linked HERE - https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/FallsLenoxofcsd.
School fees have been posted to your child's account. Payment of school fees is required in order for your child to attend field trips. If you have any questions about your child's school fees, please contact our main office at 44-427-6400.
NEW Cell Phone Policy - Students in grades PreK through 5 will not be permitted to use personal communication devices (PCDs) during the school day nor will they be permitted to use a PCD on their ride to and from school if they utilize school district transportation. This includes walking to and from a transfer bus. Students in grades PreK through 5 who remain after school on district property will be permitted to use PCDs after school, however it will be at the discretion of the supervising adult. All cell phones and/or smart watches should be left at home or left in a bookbag during the school day for students in grades PreK-5.
Next Week - Title One Open House: If your child qualified for Title One Reading Intervention, there will be an Open House on Wednesday, October 22nd at 5:30 in the Falls-Lenox media center. The FLECC PTA meeting will follow at 6:30 at the ECC.
FLECC PTA - There is still time to participate! The PTA fundraiser has been extended to Monday, 10/27.
Halloween - We will be holding our Halloween parade of costumes and parties on 10/31 starting at 1:15 p.m. Please see below for a letter that includes more information, along with details about our fall spirit week!
Save the Date: Parent/Teacher Conferences will be November 20th and 24th from 3-7 p.m. A sign-up will be forthcoming by your child's teacher.

Family Movie Night
The first Family Movie night has been scheduled for Dec. 1st. The movie will be Zootopia 2. Tickets will be $7.25 a piece. Keep an eye out for more details soon!
Raise Craze UPDATE!
Dear Parents, Faculty & Staff, Thank you all for your generous support of our Raise Craze fundraiser. So far, we’ve raised $20,666 and completed 1239 Acts of Kindness! How amazing is that?! Dear Bulldog Families,
Olmsted Falls City Schools has again partnered with the Cleveland Cavaliers for a fun afternoon Cavs game! This year’s event will take place on Monday, January 19, 2026 at 2:30 p.m. when the Cavs take on the Oklahoma City Thunder. Please note that this date is a school holiday in recognition of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
This year’s pre-game experience will be the Big Flag! Ticket purchasers from our Bulldog group will be entered into a raffle to be selected to hold the Big Flag on the court during the National Anthem. Bulldogs selected to participate in the Big Flag experience will be notified via email in advance of game day.

Please note that there are several ticket block areas and price levels available for our group. This January 19th game vs. the OKC Thunder will be a nationally televised game, so tickets may sell fast. It is recommended that interested Bulldogs purchase as soon as possible.

We're Teaming Up with the Cleveland Browns for a Special School Attendance Program!
The Falls-Lenox attendance line number is: 440-427-6411. A parent/guardian must call the Attendance Line each & every day his/her student(s) will be absent from school.
The following information must be provided: Student name, reason for absence, and parent/guardian name and contact phone number. Students will be considered truant from school if parent/guardian contact is not received. In the event a parent/guardian neglects to notify the main office of an absence, a written note must be provided upon return to school. All written verification must be received in the main office immediately upon the student’s arrival to school. Please refer to the student handbook posted on our website for specific information regarding excused and unexcused absences.

The Stay in the Game! program is all about helping students come to school every day, ready to learn and grow. Why? Because being in school regularly makes a BIG difference—especially for our youngest learners! When students miss too many days, it can be hard to catch up on learning, build friendships, and stay connected.

School Day: 8:00-2:35
Tardy Bell: 7:55 a.m. (Students must be in their classrooms by 8:00 a.m. Students entering classrooms after 8:00 a.m. will be marked tardy.)
Office Hours: 7:30-3:30 (You can leave a message after 3:30 p.m.)
Note: If your child is a car-rider, doors open at 7:35 a.m. and are open until 7:55 a.m. The side doors are locked at 7:55 a.m. If your child is coming to school after 7:55 a.m., they will need to enter through the front doors. If your child plans to eat breakfast, please have them at school by 7:45. Students cannot enter prior to 7:35 am.

Clinic Policy - Please do not send your child to school with a fever, diarrhea, or more than 2 of the following symptoms: cough, shortness of breath, chills, fever, sore throat, loss of taste or smell, headache, diarrhea. Students cannot return to school after a fever or diarrhea until they have gone 24 hours symptoms free (without Tylenol for a fever). Call off your child using our attendance line: 440-427-6411.
