Dear Falls-Lenox Families,
A special thank you to our PTA, and to the Room Parents for facilitating the Valentine's Day parties. The kids had a great time! There is no school on Friday, February 13th, as it is a staff PD Day and on Monday, February 16th for President's Day.
Further down in the newsletter, you will find information about our upcoming first grade music concerts that will take place the week of March 23rd. The letter provides details on the specific date/time your child's class will be performing.
Bulldogs on the Run: Bulldogs on the Run is a third grade running program for girls and boys. It will be Mondays and Wednesdays from 2:40-4pm. It will run mid March to the end of May. We run the Spirit 5K on May 23rd. The sign up link will be posted on The Olmsted Falls Community Center page https://occ.recdesk.com/ Saturday, February 14, 2026. We can accept 100 runners. There is a “late” sale from March 1st through March 15th , but the price will increase by $5 during this time. No yearbooks will be sold after March 15th and only a few extras are expected to be available when they are delivered in May. Orders can only be placed Online. Information from our Food Service Department ~ Ramadan Meal Program
We will be providing our Ramadan Meal Program at all schools from Wednesday, February 18th to Thursday, March 19th so students who are fasting can take a grab-and-go, shelf-stable meal to bring home. Students will go through the lunch line during their normal lunch period to pick up their meal to take home. An email communication was sent out with additional information, and the sign-up sheet can be found below. This meal program is only for those who are fasting in observance of Ramadan.

Get your own Child Drawn (but more like adorable) Pet Portrait and support helping local rescue animals!
FIDOS is a non-profit rescue organization that works tirelessly to save rescue animals, get them healthy and safe, and place them in their furever homes.

The more orders they receive, the more FIDOS can support animals in our community! Of course, if you feel compelled to give more than asked, we’d be so grateful for your generosity.

FLECC PTA: You have the power to do SUPER things with PTA!

Our Falls-Lenox / Early Childhood PTA (FLECC PTA) unit promotes the health, well-being and education of all students enrolled at the Olmsted Falls Early Childhood Education Center and at Falls-Lenox Primary School. We look forward to seeing you at our first meeting on September 24, 2025 at 6:30p in the Falls-Lenox cafeteria. Childcare will be provided by OFHS student volunteers in the gymnasium during our meeting.

We're Teaming Up with the Cleveland Browns for a Special School Attendance Program!
The Falls-Lenox attendance line number is: 440-427-6411. A parent/guardian must call the Attendance Line each & every day his/her student(s) will be absent from school.
The following information must be provided: Student name, reason for absence, and parent/guardian name and contact phone number. Students will be considered truant from school if parent/guardian contact is not received. In the event a parent/guardian neglects to notify the main office of an absence, a written note must be provided upon return to school. All written verification must be received in the main office immediately upon the student’s arrival to school. Please refer to the student handbook posted on our website for specific information regarding excused and unexcused absences.

We’re kicking off something exciting this year at Olmsted Falls City Schools—and we want YOU on our team! We’re proud to announce our new partnership with the Cleveland Browns Foundation as part of the Stay in the Game! Attendance Network.
The Stay in the Game! program is all about helping students come to school every day, ready to learn and grow. Why? Because being in school regularly makes a BIG difference—especially for our youngest learners! When students miss too many days, it can be hard to catch up on learning, build friendships, and stay connected.

School Day: 8:00-2:35
Tardy Bell: 7:55 a.m. (Students must be in their classrooms by 8:00 a.m. Students entering classrooms after 8:00 a.m. will be marked tardy.)
Office Hours: 7:30-3:30 (You can leave a message after 3:30 p.m.)
Note: If your child is a car-rider, doors open at 7:35 a.m. and are open until 7:55 a.m. The side doors are locked at 7:55 a.m. If your child is coming to school after 7:55 a.m., they will need to enter through the front doors. If your child plans to eat breakfast, please have them at school by 7:45. Students cannot enter prior to 7:35 am.

Clinic Policy - Please do not send your child to school with a fever, diarrhea, or more than 2 of the following symptoms: cough, shortness of breath, chills, fever, sore throat, loss of taste or smell, headache, diarrhea. Students cannot return to school after a fever, vomitting, or diarrhea until they have gone 24 hours symptoms free (without Tylenol for a fever). Call off your child using our attendance line: 440-427-6411.
