Falls-Lenox Primary School Newsletter
August 23, 2024
Dear Falls-Lenox Families,
Excitement has been high this week, and we have had a great first few days of school! It has been such a joy seeing all of our students' smiling faces! This week, students have been busy getting to know each other and learning routines and procedures throughout the building.
Next week, students will participate in Student Engagement Assemblies where they will learn about our PBIS building-wide expectations (Be Safe, Be Responsible, Be Respectful, and Be Kind), and the various student club opportunities available at Falls-Lenox. Students will also participate in Bus Safety Assemblies.
We serve breakfast and lunch daily. If you would like to place money on your child's account, please visit www.ofcs.net and click on, "Pay Schools Central". If at any time you have questions, concerns, or comments, please feel free to contact our main office at (440) 427-6400. We are looking forward to a great school year!
Thank you to all of our families for all of your support and for a great week!
Sincerely,
Ms. Lisa M. Williams

Beginning of the Year Book:
One of our goals at FL, is to provide students with opportunities to explore and investigate areas of their interest. We believe that learning often begins with questions, and that allowing students to research their questions, empowers them in their learning! Check out our beginning of the year book below. All classes will be reading this story and recording things they "wonder"! You may ask your child at home, what is something they wonder about and want to learn more about?
Scholastic Bookfair - See the link in the letter below to place an order! All proceeds go back to our FL library!

Donation Requests
Over the summer, the ECC staff room got a face lift through the FLECC PTA Sponsor a Seat fundraiser. Tables and seating were upgraded along with bringing a fresh new look and feel to the space. Now it's time to stock the shelves to make the space even more welcoming for our ECC staff members. Donations can be made via our Amazon wish list: https://a.co/38yqptn Thank you for supporting our staff!

In collaboration with Officer Swope, the following guidelines will help ensure the safety of our students. We appreciate your patience and help!

Please pull all the way forward to the white sign that says, "pull up here", so that we can keep the line moving.
Parents and Caregivers should remain in their vehicles.
Please exercise caution and drive slowly when pulling around cars that are loading/unloading to ensure the lane is clear.
