Activity-based office with Free Seating
At our workplace, we have a flexible seating arrangement, which means that all seats are available for everyone. We can choose a seat in the morning when we arrive and keep it for the entire day, even if it's not occupied all the time. But we ask you to avoid occupying a spot if you will be in a lot of meetings and the desk will be empty a lot. We tidy up our workspace before leaving for the day so that it is available for a colleague the next day. In the quiet room, we clean up as soon as we leave the space.
Outerwear and larger bags are to be left in the cloakroom, locker, or personal cabinet.
We provide a variety of workspaces in terms of design, as well as sound and activity environments. The following guidelines apply to our different zones.
Quiet zone
In this area, the computer and phone are set to silent, and the person sitting here has clearly indicated that they do not want to be disturbed. If we need to contact a colleague in this area, we do so through chat or email. In the quiet zone, we do not eat, and if we leave for a meeting or lunch, we clean up and make it possible for a colleague to take over the space.
Peaceful zone
This is a zone for small talk and the opportunity to discuss issues with colleagues. It's fine to have phone conversations and participate in digital meetings if you have headphones on.Active zone
This is where we go for conversations with colleagues or phone calls. It's fine to both take a break and work here.Non-bookable rooms
We use the unbookable rooms for spontaneous meetings and conversations. We remain seated as long as the meeting is in progress and handle administration and follow-up work at another location. It is not a place for solitary work.
Food
We only eat in the restaurant where we can both heat up packed meals and purchase food on-site. Provided that you clean up after yourself, it's okay to bring a piece of fruit to a desk area, but not to the quiet zone where we only bring beverages.
The lunch room
Breaks always have priority in the lunchroom in the restaurant, but if there are plenty of available seats, it's okay to work alone or have a meeting here.
We avoid working here between 7-9 and 11-14 as the space is needed for people having lunch at this time.
We always clean up after ourselves and remind each other in a friendly manner when we forget ourselves.
Allergies
If you are allergic to anything, please inform people around you so that they can take it into consideration and we can avoid allergic reactions.
However, there is a ban on nuts throughout the office as we have colleagues with allergies to this.
Animals
Animals are great, but due to the fact that there are colleagues with animal allergies and we deal with food, pets are not allowed in the building.
Assembly point in case of emergency
During an evacuation of the premises, we would gather at the staff parking lot next to the gate at Perstorpsvägen, where a gathering point sign is displayed. In the event of an evacuation, each manager is responsible for counting their team members based on who is present and reporting this information to the evacuation or assembly leader at the gathering point.
If you have visitors when the fire alarm goes off, it is your responsibility to ensure that your visitors also evacuate the office and gather at the assembly point.
Bicycle/Electric scooter
These should be parked in the bike racks located near the parking area next to Perstorpsvägen and near the gate next to Fryksdalsbacken.Batteries should not be stored in the premises.
Breakfast
Breakfast is served in the restaurant on weekdays between 06:00 and 09:30.For any questions regarding breakfast, please contact reception at: reception.larsboda@mathem.se
Candlelight
Candlelight is very cozy, especially during the dark winter months. However, we must also consider the risk of fire. Therefore, we avoid lighting real candles in the office.
Catering
If you wish to order/cater refreshments, food, or other meeting preparations, we can ƒarrange it through our designated catering service. Please contact reception reception.larsboda@mathem.se. Please note that the cost will be charged to your own cost center, and you must obtain approval from your manager before placing the order.
Children
Children under 18 years old are not allowed in any operations area or any area with safety regulations. However, they are permitted in the office area. In exceptional cases, they may also temporarily stay in the restaurant and common areas accessed through the entrance on Fryksdalsbacken, where they must be registered as visitors.
A changing table can be found in the accessible toilet near the reception.
Cleaning
Cleaning is carried out by our partner, Compass Group. If you have any specific requests or questions regarding the cleaning of the premises, please contact the reception. They will be able to assist you further. reception.larsboda@mathem.se.
If you notice any issues or deviations in the cleaning of the premises, please report them as soon as possible through DeDu
Conference room
In Larsboda, there are 33 meeting rooms of various sizes, some equipped and some without equipment, with the largest room accommodating up to 20 people. You can book the conference rooms as usual through the calendar. It's important to remember to check in on the digital board outside the meeting room. If you fail to do so within 15 minutes, the room will be released, and someone else will have the opportunity to book it.
Please keep in mind that our conference rooms are often in high demand, so it's important for all of us to respect each other's bookings and schedules. Remember to clean up cups and similar items after your meeting and leave the conference room in the same condition you found it. Also, remember to cancel the room if you no longer need it for any reason.
Defibrillator
There are defibrillators (automated external defibrillators, AEDs) located on the 1st and 2nd floor. The placement of all defibrillators is also marked on the evacuation maps. Please take the time to familiarize yourself with the location of the nearest defibrillator.
Deliveries to the office
All deliveries are directed to the reception area. For more information, please speak to our reception staff.
Disabled toilet
There are disabled toilets on each floor adjacent to other toilets.The disabled toilets are also equipped with a shower.For a description of the locations of the toilets, please contact the reception.
Dishes
Certainly, we all pitch in to put dishes in the dishwasher in the offices, start it when it's full, and unload it when the dishes are clean – just like at home. Also, remember to put your dishes from your desk into the dishwasher before leaving for the day.
If you have had breakfast or lunch in the restaurant, please take your dishes to the designated dish drop-off area and place them in the appropriate bins.
Elevator
There are a total of four elevators in the building. However, these elevators are only to be used as freight elevators for deliveries, transportation of goods, and for individuals with disabilities or mobility limitations.
Emergency exit
The office has emergency exits on each floor. These exits are marked on the evacuation route map displayed on each floor. Please take the time to familiarize yourself with the location of the emergency exits and identify the exit closest to your workspace.
Please note that emergency exits should only be used during evacuations of the premises and should not be utilized for any other purposes.
Employee shop
We have an employee store where you can purchase items at discounted prices.
The opening hours are displayed on the door of the employee store.
Please ensure that you can present a receipt for the products you purchase from the store! As we handle a lot of products it is important that we remember and can show what is what.
Ergonomics

Fire alarm and evacuation
When the fire alarm sounds, it is crucial to evacuate the premises immediately. Do not use the elevators; instead, follow the evacuation route indicated on the emergency exit map. Do not spend time gathering personal belongings. The designated assembly point in Larsboda is the staff parking lot near the gate at Perstorpsvägen.
Fire Safety information
Mathem has an evacuation organization in place, including evacuation leaders and assembly point leaders. If you have any questions regarding fire safety, please contact the reception.
Fire extinguishers are visibly placed on all floors throughout the building. Make sure to familiarize yourself with their exact locations, so you know where to find them quickly if the need arises. This also applies to the evacuation route maps available on each floor.
First aid
First aid kits are visibly placed on the wall on all floors. These are refilled by an external supplier once a month. Please make sure to familiarize yourself with the exact location of the nearest first aid kit.
At the workplace safety board (in the Perstorpsvägen entrance), there is an overview map of all stations.
Fruit
Fruit is available in all kitchenettes and at reception, available to anyone who needs an extra energy boost.
Food
We only consume food from our packed lunches in the restaurant. However, you are welcome to bring fruit and coffee to your desk in the active and quiet zone.
Gym
Perhaps you would like to start or end your workday with a gym session, but in order to access the gym, you need to read the rules and regulations for the gym and acknowledge that you have received the information (this only needs to be done once). After that, you are welcome to enter the gym. Please note that you should never leave personal belongings in the gym when you leave, as they will be discarded.

IT-support
Of course, we are happy to help you with your IT-related matters. Contact us via the respective slack channels for IT-related questions.
Key tags
The reception is responsible for administering key tags to employees in Larsboda. New employees receive their key tag on their first day of work. If you have misplaced your key tag, please contact reception.larsboda@mathem.se immediately.
For new hires, please fill in this formula at least 3 days before the start date, so that the Facilities team has enough time to create the key tag. For access beyond general access, please contact your manager and ask them to send an email certifying the need and the job title of the requester to: sakerhet.larsboda@mathem.se
Kitchen
In Larsboda, we have kitchenettes equipped with refrigerators (in the main office), dishwashers, and sinks. Microwaves are only available in the microwave room adjacent to the restaurant. Access to the restaurant kitchen is restricted to authorized personnel only.
Our restaurant is managed by Compass Group.
Lunch restaurant
In our restaurant, you have the option to purchase lunch. Our partner, Compass Group, staffs and serves our meals. We recommend downloading the Food & co Sverige app to access offers and menus:

Office storage
If you work at the Larsboda office and need a storage cabinet, you can access a personal storage cabinet on your floor. The cabinet is opened using your access card/tag. We encourage people to share these with a colleague as we don’t have enough for everyone to have their own.

Order and safety regulations
The rules and regulations for order, safety, and hygiene are covered in the document Order and safety regulations. It is important to read and acknowledge this document when starting employment, once a year, after extended absences, or in the event of significant changes. You can find the document in the Employee Handbook under "Policies & guidelines" and the Working environment tab. The manager responsible for work environment is responsible for ensuring that all employees have signed and comply with these rules and requirements.
Outerwear
Outerwear and larger bags are to be left in the cloakroom adjacent to the office, in the locker room, or in the personal locker.
Parking
There are two parking areas designated for Mathem. One is accessible via Fryksdalsbacken, and the other via Perstorpsvägen. Some parking spaces at Perstorpsvägen are equipped with charging stations for electric vehicles, and only owners of electric vehicles are allowed to park there. It operates on a first-come, first-served basis.
Mathem utilizes Aimo Park to oversee our parking areas. The access code for the parking area changes periodically, so please contact the reception if you have any questions regarding parking.
If both parking areas are full, it is possible to park along Fryksdalsbacken and Perstorpsvägen. However, please note that Stockholm City's parking regulations apply on these roads. Make sure to familiarize yourself with the parking terms and conditions before parking your vehicle.
Passage system
The property is equipped with a comprehensive alarm and access control system!
The system is operated by an external contractor, and the reception distributes tags to all employees.

Package delivery
If you receive a package, it will be delivered to the reception or the goods receiving area.
Packages intended for the reception should be labeled with "Reception plan 2" and addressed to Fryksdalsbacken 9.
Please retrieve your package as soon as possible to prevent overcrowding at the reception. If you are not present at the office when the package arrives, kindly ask a colleague for assistance in picking it up. For outgoing packages, please contact our reception.

For reporting faults and other orders, please visit DeDu at Checkout or via QR codes in the room where you are located!
In case of urgent property issues, please call the property emergency service at 072-965 12 62 around the clock!
Reception
The reception is staffed by receptionists on weekdays from 08:00 AM to 4:00 PM and 9:00 PM to 06:00 AM.
Shower
Showers are available in all changing rooms. However, you only have access to the changing room that your access tag permits, and therefore, you may only use the shower in that specific changing room.
If you are an internal visitor, there are also showers available in our accessible toilets
Smoking
Our office is completely smoke-free, including the surrounding areas outside. However, there is a designated smoking area by the entrance at Perstorpsvägen towards the parking garage. Smoking is only allowed in that designated area, and smoking in any other location is prohibited.
Please note that taking cups to the smoking area is not allowed.
Snow removal and sanding
Mathem has a snow removal agreement with a contractor!
Snow removal is carried out as soon as the need arises, typically when the snow depth reaches approximately 3 centimeters.
If you have any questions or issues regarding snow removal, please report them through the Facilities Management system, DeDu, or contact the property management emergency line. 072-965 12 62.
Telephone room / hub
Our small telephone rooms are not available for booking but are intended for private phone calls or short meetings.
Terrace/patio
In connection with our restaurant, there is a large terrace that will be furnished during the spring and summer months. Everyone is welcome to sit down and enjoy their lunch or a cup of coffee in the nice weather. The terrace provides a pleasant outdoor space for relaxation and socializing.
Additionally, there is an outdoor seating area near the bicycle racks next to Fryksdalsbacken.
Toilets
Toilets are available on each floor of the building. On the first floor, you can find toilets scattered throughout the warehouse area. On the second floor, there are toilets located in both offices, near the reception area, as well as in all the changing rooms.
Unauthorized visitors
Our office is located in Stockholm Farsta, where many people are on the move. It is therefore important to ensure that no unauthorized individuals enter the office while you are entering. If you encounter someone you do not recognize (or who does not have a Mathem badge with a key tag), feel free to ask if you can assist them with anything.
Furthermore, if you have a visitor, it is your responsibility to ensure that your visitor registers at the reception as a visitor. This helps maintain security and control access to the office premises.
Visitors
When visiting, the visitor must always register at the reception, who will contact the right person for the visit.
Internal visitors who are employees of Mathem will have access to Larsboda's common areas on level 2!
If you wish to visit the distribution or production areas, a recipient from that department is required. For inquiries, please contact the warehouse or distribution management.
During an evacuation, it is the responsibility of the recipient of the visit to ensure the safety of their visitor!
Visitor vests and safety shoes
Both Mathem's staff and external visitors who are present in the warehouse must wear visitor vests and safety shoes throughout their stay in the warehouse. These are available at the warehouse entrance on level 2. Please ensure that these are hung up and returned after use.
(Mathem's staff working in fulfillment or delivery and wearing a uniform are not subject to the vest regulations)
When staying in the yard, high-visibility clothing must be worn.
Waste sorting
In each kitchenette, there are recycling bins for sorting different types of waste. The sorting categories include plastic, paper packaging (excluding corrugated cardboard), returnable bottles, and burnable waste. At each printer station, there are recycling bins specifically for office paper and confidential documents. For the recycling of electronics, batteries, light bulbs, porcelain, and glass, there is a designated waste room located at the Perstorpsvägen entrance where you can properly dispose of these items.
Quiet room
Of course we provide a quiet room for employees. It is located on the 2nd floor, adjacent to the driver's lounge. To gain access to the rest area, please reach out to your supervisor or contact the reception.
