For my final data visualization project, I chose to work with a dataset on California power plants
I decided to work with this dataset because it seemed interesting and I had an idea for a map visualisation. I never got around to making that map visualisation, because I am really bad at coding, but I got a map working at least.

In my visualization, the data is represented as pins on a map
To interact with the visualization, try hovering over the pins. you can also click the layers tab at the top right corner to toggle certain layers.

One interesting thing I noticed during this project is that for some reason California gets power from Utah and Arizona?!?!?
Something I still wonder about is WHY?
The most challenging moment of this project was getting the map to work properly
If I had more time, I would like to make it look half decent because it is really ugly
My proudest moment during this project was when I got the little bubble that follows your mouse and displays information to work
