For my final data visualization project, I chose to work with worldwide meat consumption.
I decided to work with this dataset because meat consumption seemed interesting to me.
In my visualization, the data is represented as green, yellow, and red dots.
To interact with the visualization, try hovering over the dots to see how much meat is consumed in the specific place.
One interesting thing I noticed during this project is that (not very surprisingly) the us consumes the most meat(as of 2022).
Something I still wonder about is that Japan does not consume as much meat as I assumed it would.
The most challenging moment of this project was that the dots kept disappearing when I hovered over them.
If I had more time, I would like to add different numbers for each section of meat (such as beef and poultry).
My proudest moment during this project was when I finally made the dots not disappear when I hovered over them.
