The library at NICC supports student learning outcomes across the curriculum via its collections and services. The libraries purchase material for on-campus, online, and blended classroom settings. Staff are ready and eager to assist faculty in the selection and purchase of new material to support your research and instruction needs, as well as those of our students.
Faculty are invited to request library research orientations, offered in a face-face or online format, for their classes to better acquaint students with resources and services available to them.
With carefully selected subject databases, thousands of e-books, journals, newspapers, and streaming video selections, the NICC Library supplements its campus collections–about 35,000 volumes and 100 print journal titles at each campus–and study spaces with a generous collection of digital content that may be incorporated into course webpages or shared individually with students. Library databases and electronic resources are available online and remote access.
