Learning Centers

The Learning Centers at NICC are a comfortable, welcoming learning space where students can receive academic assistance in a variety of subjects and an open computer lab.

The Learning Centers provide academic support services that foster success for all NICC students free of charge. Students are welcome to meet with Learning Center instructors on campus or virtually. Students may receive supplemental instruction for a variety of educational support services including study strategies and techniques, academic coaching, nursing, science, reading, writing, math, speech, and basic computer content areas.

Appointments are recommended for study skills and/or writing sessions, students requesting assistance with other subject are welcome to “drop-in” at their convenience whether face-to-face or virtually.

Learning Center instructors work with students individually or in small groups.
