Stipends (Student Clubs, Professional Organizations or CTSO's)
The faculty member who serves as the lead organizer for a student club or professional organization (BPA, PTK) or Career Technical Service Organization for the campus will receive a $250.00 stipend for each semester provided the group meets the guidelines for the club or CTSO charter. One stipend is available per group however the stipend can be divided among co-leads. One faculty member per ten students/per chapter on an NICC approved trip or to state and national competitions will be compensated according to the following guidelines when the travel is scheduled outside of their contracted work days.
7 hours of pay at the adjunct hourly rate of pay or their hourly pay (whichever is higher)/ for each day of travel or event attendance;
Full coverage for approved lodging and registrations;
Meals will be covered according to NICC guidelines.
Additional faculty choosing to attend the event will be compensated according to the NICC Faculty Conference guidelines if approved.
Faculty attending Dean recommended or program mandated trainings for program support that falls outside of their contracted work days will be compensated according to the following guidelines:
7 hours of pay at the adjunct hourly rate of pay or their hourly pay (whichever is higher)/ for each day of travel or training attendance;
Full coverage for approved lodging and registrations;
Meals will be covered according to NICC guidelines.
