STudent care referral

Faculty and staff are encouraged to support students by completing a Student CARE Referral when someone may be experiencing challenges that affect their ability to succeed. CARE focuses on the whole student and allows coordinated outreach and non-clinical case management.  For students experiencing academic difficulties, you are encouraged to reach out to students experiencing academic difficulties prior to sending a CARE referral to Student Services.

Submit a CARE Referral for any of the following reasons:

• Academic struggles or sudden performance changes

• Poor attendance or disengagement (in person or online)

• Missed assignments or lack of participation

• Changes in behavior, motivation, or communication

• Personal, financial, mental health, or basic needs concerns

• Students not responding to outreach
