😍🙌✨🎉😁 We had three awesome afterschool events this week! We started our Tuesday program Fantasy Fiction, Kindness night was awesome as always, and had a TON of parents show up for our Music Concert Thursday!!!
Dear Adams' Fam!!
I really am looking forward to next school year already. I know it is April and we still have a lot to do in May but looking at our new curriculum materials and the collaboration of our new teams (new for some of you) has got me really excited! I know it is a lot of new but they're good resources - now we have an abundance of resources - we have a phonics program plus back up phonics! Our students are going to be amazing readers!!! The other wonderful thing looking ahead to next year is that we have a lot of planning opportunities - up to 20 hours of paid planning from district and 6 hours that we can pay you as a site, so that's a lot of time for you all to collaborate to be ready for your 2022-23 children! They will be coming into your classrooms more prepared than this year which is also very exciting.
Coach B our data analysist has helped us to look at our data in different ways and our students have already shown tremendous growth - I'm so proud of what we have accomplished this school year and I'm looking forward to seeing how our end of the year data proves that even more!
Thanks again for all you continue to do for our students!
😍
Adams team - We got this!

Teacher Talk
In our MTSS meetings we have been discussing how to better support our students with math facts - Ms. Sage was awesome enough to share this wonderful FREE resource with us. PLEASE watch the video that she made to help you navigate the site. We know this can help all of Adams' students make some gains with their math facts. Click on the link below.
Our April AVID Strategy of the month is Goal Setting
To the right here ➡There are some resources here to help you - the attachment at the top right is the entire Bridges Book - there are MANY topics that you can search there - use the table of contents but I do recommend if you have AVID questions to go there or to MyAVID.org
This is very timely with testing coming up! Please make sure that you have your students write goals around their testing to make sure that they take it seriously and know that their results will be looked at not only by you but by them too! For those tests that we will have the results for before the end of the school year, develop a class incentive for reaching those goals, individually and as a class. Let me know if you need help with ideas about this!
Thank you again to all of the staff that helped Thursday after school with the Music Concert! And special thanks to Ms. Morrison for helping our students learn all those songs and dance moves! AND to all of teh
Sadly these are real - I think I should message her some of the ones I've heard.
