Dear Adams' Fam!!
Thank you to everyone who completed the February monthly survey. Grade level team members and I combed through the feedback at our Monday meeting and we came up with a few ways to address some of the issues that were brought up in the comments section. We are revising the referral sheet to make it more clear what support is needed for a particular student. Please know that the more detailed you can be when completing a referral form the better. I do not share those with parents, we only send home the Synergy form so if you want to remind me that this is their second office visit in two weeks or they did the exact same thing last month and we said that if they did it again so and so was going to happen - that would be SUPER helpful! Also, if you're not happy with a consequence - let me know so we can discuss it! Also, based on feedback we are putting together a professional development offering that will offer a variety of topics that you can choose from on a Wednesday that will hopefully be tailored to fit your needs. If you have suggestions for a particular topic you'd like to see - please let me know! We also noticed that some of the feedback doesn't match the scores. We are trying to mimic the district survey as this is part of our Pay for Performance so we can't change the rating scale - so PLEASE be careful that when you rate us a "5" that you actually mean it - because that stands for "Poor" while a 1 stands for "Excellent." We will be sending another survey out at the end of the month. But of course if you have ANY feedback of ways that we can improve the school - please feel free to speak to me directly so we can make sure to address it right away! You can also go to our amazing office staff, Renee, Hollie, or a team leader - we have all been collaborating💪 to make Adams the best it can be!! 😍

Counselor Corner
Hello everyone. We will be finishing most of our Grief and Frienships groups next week before the end of the quarter. If a group has missed one, we may finish the week we return. Our Tardy groups will finish in the 4th quarter and we will be meeting with Stephanie to discuss what the focus will be for the rest of the year.
