1. All the normal reporting procedures--supervisor, Time Clock +, iVisions, sub notification, etc.
2. Let me know--480-472-4364 is my office number, or 480-695-0053 if it's after hours or a weekend. I need to know your EIN, DOB, last day at work, and the day your symptoms started.
3. Get tested for COVID as soon as you can. You will not be able to come back to work without a negative test. Embry Health is open at MCC and other locations, and results are coming back in about 24 hours at this time. Here is the link to schedule: embrywomenshealth.com/testing-blitz. Let me know what day you got tested, and I will need a screenshot of the test results emailed to me. It's ok if you just get a text, I'll take it.
4. If you are positive, you will need to be home for 10 days from the date your symptoms started. However, if you didn't get your test for more than 48 hours, we will need to start the 10 days from the date you got tested, so test ASAP, or you're going to be away from work longer.
****There is no more COVID sick pay at this time, so absences will be covered by whatever sick time you have accrued. If you run out, the rest of the days will be unpaid. I know that this makes you want to put off staying home or letting anyone know you are not feeling well. PLEASE don't do that. The Delta variant of this virus is more than 2x as contagious as the previous variants, and we all want to stay well. We also have a couple of staff members and a student that have had organ transplants and are immune compromised.
I highly recommend that you wear your masks any time you are around others, and get vaccinated if you haven't done so. The FDA is pretty close to issuing full approval for it. If you have held back for that to occur, I would advise going ahead and getting it. Get either the Pfiser or Moderna one, and you have to get 2 doses, you are not protected after just one dose.
I want to remind you also that the vaccines are not necessarily for preventing you getting COVID, although they do a pretty good job at preventing this. They are to keep you from getting a severe case of COVID and dying from it. You can still get it from someone, especially if they are unvaccinated. You would probably have a light to medium case of the illness, but you could still pass it to someone else.
If you have any specific questions about the vaccines or anything else, please call me or come see me.
