This week, the band students performed a concert in the Minot North auditorium for the first time this school year. They spent many hours practicing and preparing, and it really showed in their performance. The concert had a variety of music and gave students a chance to share what they’ve been working on. Families, friends, and teachers came to watch and support them. For most of the band students, this was their last concert of the school year. For the seniors, it may have been their final time playing in the school band, which made the evening even more special.
While the band is now finished with concerts for the year, the choir still has more performances coming up. In a few weeks, the freshman choir will have a concert at the Minot North auditorium. These ninth-grade students have been working hard and are excited to sing on stage. There will also be a choir concert for the upperclassmen, sophomores, juniors, and seniors who have also been preparing for their performance.
One of the most exciting parts of the upcoming concerts is that the freshman choir and the upperclassmen choir will come together to sing a song as a group. This will be a great way to bring all the choir students together and end the year on a strong note. Everyone is welcome to attend and support the choir students as they finish out the school year with music and teamwork.
