The popular nu-metal band has joined the North Dakota State Fair lineup and will be coming to Minot, North Dakota in July.
Limp Bizkit is a popular band originating from Jacksonville, Florida. Making themselves known with angry vocals and their guitarists flashy face and body paint as well as masks and uniforms. They’ve been nominated for three Grammy awards and have sold 40 million records internationally and have also won several other awards.
They began building popularity after their second and third studio albums and have been gaining popularity ever since. Their second album titled "CHOCOLATE STARFISH AND THE HOT DOG FLAVORED WATER", is their best seller with over 10 million copies sold.
To have such a popular metal name come to the State Fair seems like almost a breath of fresh air. As we all know, the fair often makes lineups of popular country singers, which may be favorable for a good majority of Minot and our neighboring towns; but not for everyone. Limp Bizkit certainly isn't a new or underground band, but hopefully their presence will help newer artists of other genres be able to score a place in the concert lineup in years to come.
Limp Bizkit will be on stage on Friday, July 25th as the second-to-last band performing. Get your tickets at https://ndstatefair.com/ tickets will go on sale on March 31,2025.
