When not doing any of that, you will find her reading, sewing, or watching a baking show. In the summers, she spends her time outdoors camping, hiking, and biking.

In addition to the Sentinal Star, Bryleigh is also a journalist for the Northern Sentry paper and for the FBLA monthly newspaper. She writes about Minot North sports, clubs, and community events and plans to bring her knowledge of journalism to the Sentinel Star. Outside of school, Bryleigh enjoys volunteering around the community, especially for The Lord’s Cupboard; practicing nail art on her friends; playing with her golden retriever, chickens, and bunnies; photography; crocheting; and reading. She also enjoys playing bassoon in concert bands, playing in festivals around the state, participating in local bands, and playing piano in jazz band.

In her free time, she can be found writing up a new fictional story, reading a book, painting, researching Greek mythology, or spreading word about a new environmental or social issue . In the summer she is always outside by the river or laying in the sun while reading or meditating. After high school she plans to attend college with interests currently in psychology and marine biology while displaying interests in literature and philosophy. She joined Sentinel Star Club with her love of writing and hopes to spread important information or shine some light on the serious topics she believes people need to know.

Fatimazahra contributes to The Northern Sentry through her Jr. Journalism article submissions and the monthly FBLA newsletter. When not in school, Fatimazahra enjoys playing classical piano pieces, reading books, and writing stories, including her published book, Drowning Truths. She also enjoys scrapbooking, anything involving crafts, traveling, photography, spending time with family, and studying new languages such as German while enhancing her current languages, including Turkish and Moroccan Arabic. Fatimazahra is interested in aviation and aerospace engineering, and aspires to become an astronaut, neurosurgeon, and U.S. senator.
