This week’s Club of the Week is Student Council, run by Ms. Lindgren and Mr. Huss. Student Council is a group of students who were elected to represent the school by their peers. Student Council consists of 57 Students and meets every other Thursday during advisory. When asked if they were taking more members, Mr. Huss said, “Our club is made up of goal-oriented leaders who are driven to make this school a better place! We have class elections at the beginning of the year to gain representation from each grade. We also have at-large positions available for individuals who would like to join later into the school year.” Mr. Huss is in his 2nd year of teaching and teaches American government and criminal law. Student council is a way to boost school engagement and culture. They plan and host many events at Minot North, such as Homecoming, the Snow Ball, 12 Days of Christmas, and Spring Fling. Thank you to the student council for being this week's club of the week!
