Unit 1: Course Orientation and Career Exploration in the Trades (1 Week)
The unit introduces students to the history of construction trades, describes apprentice programs, and identifies career opportunities for workers in the building trades. (i.e. Employability Skills, Communication Skills, 21st Century Skills)
