In this unit students should be able to identify and properly opperate and maintain portable power tools.

Standard 3.4 Student will be able to state the general rules for properly maintaining all power tools, regardless of type.Standard 3.5 Student will be able to identify the portable power tools commonly used by carpenters and describe their uses.Standard 3.6 Student will be able to use portable power tools in a safe and appropriate manner.
