Unit 1: Course Orientation and Career Exploration in the Trades (1 Week)

The unit introduces students to the history of drafting in the trades, describes apprentice programs, and identifies career opportunities for workers in drafting for many of the building trades, (i.e. Employability Skills, Communication Skills, 21st Century Skills).
