The project fabrication unit gives students the opportunity to apply knowledge and skill developed throughout units 1 - 5. Depending on the facility, class size, and budgetary constraints instructors will split the students into small groups or have then complete the project individually. Students will create a technical drawing of the project, estimate the required materials , and develop a procedural process for creating the project. After preparatory processes have been completed students will utilize safe operational procedures to fabricate and finish the project within the required time and material constraints.
