North Facing Gardens
North Facing Gardens
For the north facing garden project, we planned to transform the whole area by removing what needed to be removed and adding things that needed to be added in our eyes. We installed things and added native plants that would make the garden look like a beautiful and well looked after area.
Our first step was to remove any stumps and plants that needed removing while trimming the grass back and using weed poisoner.
Our second step was to draw out a birds eye view plan of the area we were working on.
We planted native plants, some bankia's that go well with the sandy soil.
We mulched out the area to suppress down the weeds and provide nutrients.
We carved our own little path through the grass and then made the path out of granitic sand, also adding borders around the path.
We added a little retaining wall, by digging a few holes and adding three 1.5 meter wood planks in between the C and H posts, while lastly filling the holes up with concrete.
