Former United States attorney general Loretta lynch strongly stated “we all have a responsibility to protect endangered species, both for their sake and for the sake of our own future generation”. Future generations won’t have a planet if we don’t address the outrage of climate change and its negativity it brings to our world, our home. Climate change is reducing the time we have on this planet as it is killing our world’s animals and bringing on a mass extinction.
We are the problem. Humans are causing this mass crisis extinction. Our planet now faces global extinction catastrophe with scientist predict more than 1 million species on track for extinction in the coming decades. How do you feel for murdering the beautiful living species? Species are becoming extinct expeditious quicker nowadays as it has never been witnessed by humankind with population sizes dropping by 68% between 1970 and 2018. The main contributing factor to these possible extinctions is human caused climate change. We are cleaning land for farming, removing habitats, warming the earth and not listening to climate experts. If we know climate change causes extinction, why aren’t we making changes? We caused this and now we need to fix it.
People all over the world understands that climate change is killing the world and we are the main reason why. The world is coming to the rise of disruption with scientist predicting the loss of ice melting glaciers, ice sheets, sea level rise, storms, heat waves and intense droughts. According to the NASA climate change facts, the past 15 warmest years have occurred since 2005 with the last 8 years progressing that. The earth won’t handle this heat any longer. WE ARE STILL DOING NOTHING ABOUT IT. We know how to damage the planet, but now we need to reverse that damage. Teach your kids about the beauty of nature. Hold businesses and politicians accountable. Use less energy.
I want you to picture a world without animals for me. Quiet? Silent? Empty? It’s heading that way. All wild forests and grassland would die but given our empathy about the fact that we’re already causing a mass extinction, it’s expected to wipe out 30-50% of species in the next century. I doubt we will try to rescue it because slowly enough people were aware that it was happening but people are too selfish within themselves to do something. Say bye to your flowers. Say bye to your backyards. Say bye to life. A world without animals is a world of disruption.
What can we do to fix this planet for us to stay alive? The eggs are in your basket. There are plenty of options we as a whole can do to save our home. It’s easy. Plant a tree. Ride a bike. Don’t eat meat. All the little things we do in our everyday lives is killing this planet. It’s all on us. We need to fix this now.
