Our project was to green our classrooms to increase our biodiversity score and help our school community. To bring our project together and keep it to no cost, myself and Hawa got some donated plants from a local nursery, some pots and 2 sides of a cage from our school to help grow our jasmine reapers.
We got a range of plants, we picked the ones that will benefit us. we have 4 pots full of plants our shelfs where our Great Landing is, a nice view of green when you look outside.
What does green stand for in education?
It is a color that has long been associated with nature tranquility and peace and arguably the most important color students should have access to in their environments. Exposure to live plants and color green have a positive impact upon visual and verbal creative thinking in classroom settings.
And we think a clean and green environment is good for healthy living. it means having unpolluted air, water and land. clean surroundings prevent diseases. while greener provides fresh air and a peaceful habitat and our mission is to create a global community of leaners, making our world sustainable.
