The 2023-24 Chick-fil-a Leader Academy members sorted books in October and gathered toys in December for their first semester activities.

Approximately 10 LEHS students joined over 30,000 high school students nationwide in an effort to give 1 million books to underserved youth in their local communities as part of Chick-fil-A Leader Academy, a national high school leadership program.
About Chick-fil-A Leader Academy
Chick-fil-A Leader Academy is a national high-school leadership program focused on Impact Through Action.
The 1 million books are sponsored by Chick-fil-A, Inc. and are packaged and given by our student leaders and given to our Early Childhood Center. More than 1,000 high schools take part in the seven-month program representing local communities across 43 states.
For the Do Good December Project: sponsors Mrs. Armstrong and Mrs.Thompson traveled with student member Kaylen Hopkins to the ECC to finalize both endeavors.
Principals Dr. Roshea Phillips and Kiaundra Walker were there to lend a helping hand.
Historical Ornament Project
US History/Mrs. Audrey Morris-Cellers
Students in Mrs. Celler's history class were given an assigment to design an ornament about a historical figure, event or theme they admired or found interesting in American History. The ornament should honor that person, event or theme and their accomplishments in some way.
