List any special memories from high school:

During my first One Act Play performance, I had a small role and was not expecting any recognition. We had been working on this play for the months and I was called on stage to receive a medal for all-star cast. From that moment on, I realized that everyone can do extraordinary things.

Any advice for upcoming freshmen?

Never stoop to the standards of others. You are fully capable of creating your own path, even if others are judgmental along the way.

Do you think you've left an impact on Liberty Eylau?

From my perspective, while I have been a high ranking student, there will always be others. While I don’t believe I’ve made a huge impact on the school as a whole, I would like to believe that I have left an impact on those I have met along the way. I hope that I have been able to be a kind face that others see on their way to lunch or their next class. I also hope I have been someone that people can turn to when they are in need.

Any final thoughts about being a senior?

Even though every year we have spent in high school has prepared us for the time we will cross the stage, clad in maroon, it does not seem real. Most will equate their high school graduation with the end of their eventful life. However, it is only the end if that is how you choose to look at the plot. The period at the end of a sentence does not always mean the end of the book, but a new beginning, full of understanding and experience. Senior year is frightening, but it is only the beginning of something greater than ourselves.
