Block Schedule

Liberty Eylau High School is returning to the old fashioned block schedule. Students currently have five classes a day which are an hour and a half long, with the exception of lunch and an elective class-which is each forty-five minutes long.

In between classes, students have seven minutes to take care of their business. The bell rings in the morning at 7:50am and 3:40pm in the evening for release.

Liberty Eylau Running Club

The Liberty-Eylau's running club leader is Mr. Ray Howell. He started this club to encourage students and teachers to live a healthier lifestyle, especially throughout Covid-19 in order to stay as healthy as possible. The Running Club works out every Tuesday and Thursday at 5am and Saturdays at 6am. The weekday location is the high school track and on Saturdays they meet at Grady T. Wallace Park. The Running Club has 12 members and is open to any student or staff in the LE district.

Breakfast In The Halls

Breakfast is now served in the hallways on east and west campus. Normally, the breakfast cart is rolled out at 7:30am and food is delivered until the first bell. There is a usually juice, a piece of fruit, and some sort of main item for breakfast. The sack of food is to be taken to the classroom and eaten there.

Mask Requirements

Appropriate and consistent use of masks is most important when students, teachers, and staff are indoors and when social distancing of at least 6 feet is difficult to implement or maintain. (Masks should not be placed on children younger than 2 years old or anyone who has trouble breathing or is unconscious).

Let's do our part as we maneuver through this pandemic!
