Makayla Pierce, Sophomore

Makayla Pierce is a sophomore and has been crocheting for about five months now. She learned this skill from her mother and by watching videos on YouTube. 

Makayla finds crocheting relaxing yet frustrating at times and mostly crochets while watching television. She gets her supplies at Michael's but has seen a good array of necessary items at Walmart.

 Currently, she makes animals and simple objects but she hopes to one day perfect the skill by making clothes and different items. Makayla also gives these animals that she has designed to friends and family.
