Congratulations to our Four States Honor Band Students who participated at the Four States Bandmasters Convention held at the Sullivan Performing Arts Center on the Campus of Texas High School on January 12th through 14th. Students from Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana and Oklahoma were selected to perform in the Symphonic, Concert and Jazz Bands. LEHS Band students placed as follows:

LEHS Band students performed at the UIL Region IV Solo & Ensemble Contest Friday, February 24th and the following students received Superior Ratings and Advanced to the Texas State Solo and Ensemble Contest that will be held on Memorial Day weekend at Hendrickson High School in Pflugerville.

The LEHS Band performed at the Pre-UIL Pleasant Grove Concert and Sight-reading Evaluations March 1st and received Superior Ratings from every judge (STRAIGHT 1's) in Concert performance and in Sight-reading. Their next performance will be at the Region IV UIL Concert and Sight Reading Evaluations next Wednesday, March 8th. Congratulations to our hard working students and band staff for getting headed in the right direction for our big day next week.
