Senior Spotlight

With each issue, our readers get a glimpse into the lives of a few seniors who were selected by our Leopard Chronicle's Staff for the spotlight section. We have some pretty amazing students ---check out this section!


Courtlyn Crabtree 

List any special memories from high school?

"The black out pep rally was so cool. I'm really glad we could do something so fun and awesome."

Plans after graduation?

"I plan on going into the dental field. I want to start off being an assistant and work my way up to becoming a hygienist."

What would you like to accomplish in your lifetime?

"Becoming a better person, wealthy, and just starting a new life away from home and achieving more goals as I grow older."

Any advice for upcoming freshmen?

"Have fun and turn your work in! Also, whatever you do- do it because you want to and to the best of your ability."

Do you think you left an impact at Liberty-Eylau High School?

"To some yes, but if I didn't, I hope everyone finds the impact they are looking for and hopefully it's the right one."

Any final thoughts about being a senior?

"As graduation approaches, I can't believe that soon I won't have to wake up and make memories with my classmates anymore but I am sure everyone will be fine."

Jabrien Aubrey

List any special memories from high school?

"I got two good sacks at the Henderson football game."

Plans after graduation?

"Majoring in agriculture and being successful."

What would you like to accomplish in your lifetime?

"Get my degree in agriculture."

Any advice for upcoming freshmen?

"Participate in everything you can and keep up with your grades."

Do you think you left an impact at Liberty-Eylau High School?

" Yes."

Any final thoughts about being a senior?

"I'm ready to graduate and live my life to the fullest."

Tyqaeuon Davis 

List any special memories from high school?

"Going to Austin with the band."

Plans after graduation?

"To go to college and get my BSN and work at St. Micheals then become a traveling nurse."

What would you like to accomplish in your lifetime?

"Happiness."

Any advice for upcoming freshmen?

"Live"

"No"

Any final thoughts about being a senior?

"Enjoy it while it lasts."

Wyatt Clepper 

List any special memories from high school?

"Me participating and competing in the sports I love the most."

Plans after graduation?

"To go to a trade school and beome a certified electrician and also get my water license."

What would you like to accomplish in your lifetime?

"I want to be successful in anything I set out to do in life."

Any advice for upcoming freshmen?

"Stay consistent in life and all that you do."

"I don't think I've done enough."

Any final thoughts about being a senior?

"It's a great experience."

Maria Collins

List any special memories from high school?

"When I was a freshman, me and my doubles partner won our very first tennis trophy. It was an important moment for the both of us and one of my best memories."


Plans after graduation?

"I plan to go to Stephen F. Austin University and get a degree in ecology and animal science."

What would you like to accomplish in your lifetime?

"I would like to graduate college with honors and find my dream job. I would like to travel the world and take my family to different places."

Any advice for upcoming freshmen?

"Be yourself and have fun. Enjoy your years in high school and study hard."

Do you think you left an impact at Liberty-Eylau High School?

"I would like to think so- at the very least, I know I've put a smile on a couple of kid's faces."

Any final thoughts about being a senior?

"Being a senior reminds me that soon I will graduate and attend college, so I plan to enjoy my senior life while I can."

Teyona Lattin

List any special memories from high school?

"All four years being on drill team, winning first place at all of my powerlifting meets, and winning homecoming queen. I have so many special memories from everything."

Plans after graduation?

"Move to Georgia, go to college, and find a great career for myself."

What would you like to accomplish in your lifetime?

"I would like to become a business woman and a social media influencer while spreading love and kindness all of over the world. And most importantly-to be successful and happy."

Any advice for upcoming freshmen?

"Be yourself. People are always going to judge you and have something to say about you but know your worth and know what you are capable of because at the end of the day, this is your life and you have to live for yourself and love yourself."

Do you think you left an impact at Liberty-Eylau High School?

"Yes I definitely do, I'm so glad to be someone that people look up to."

Any final thoughts about being a senior?

"Honestly, I'm not ready to graduate. High school is a place where I can be myself. It has given me so many lessons and memories and I wouldn't be myself without all of the experiences I've gone through. I appreciate all my past teachers and schools that have helped me-- I hope to leave a great legacy."

Jasmine Strange

List any special memories from high school?

"I was a cheerleader my freshman year and I think it was a great way to start my high school experience."

Plans after graduation?

"I am going to college after I finish basic training (National Guard) so I already have a job and college lined up after graduation."

What would you like to accomplish in your lifetime?

"I would like to graduate college. I have a lot of dreams and I'm not quite sure which one I will conquer, but as long as I complete one of them, I will be happy."

Any advice for upcoming freshmen?

"Don't worry too much about friends, drama, or status. Figure out your goals and work towards them because after high school, that's the only thing that will matter."

Do you think you left an impact at Liberty-Eylau High School?

"I'm not sure I did now but maybe in the future if I become something."

Any final thoughts about being a senior?

"It's second semester already and to be honest, I'm just happy I'm graduating."
