Even Now

Lauren and Shane had been in love since the start of grade school---nonetheless, their feelings had only heightened when they started high school- it was love for what they knew love to be. Fast forward to when they are 17 and Lauren finds out she is pregnant. Shane of course, is trying to be supportive, despite the circumstances.

The only thing left was to break the news to both of their parents and that would be another challenge in itself.  Shane’s parents wanted a future for their son and Lauren being pregnant threatened every ounce of hope they had ever had for their precious child. Shane's family soon moved to California-- promising to keep in contact but it ended up separating Lauren and Shane.

Shane's parents- and Lauren's mom and dad, succeeded in separating the two by lying-- even when Lauren had the baby, no one contacted Shane.

Lauren eventually realizes her parent's deception and drives to California to find Shane. A twist of events occurs and baby Emily gets very sick which leaves Lauren no choice but to return home and seek medical attention.

She is misinformedof her baby's passing (the child actually survived) and reluctuantly goes on with her life.

Did Lauren ever find out her baby was still alive? Where did baby Emily end up? Did Shane and Lauren ever meet again? Consider picking up this book, Even Now by Karen Kingsbury to answer all the questions you might have.

Star Wars Ahsoka Show Ep ½

This Show so far is outstanding. It's better than the book of Boba Fett and Kenobi but slightly below the Mandalorian. If you haven’t watched Star Wars Rebels, then you might be a little confused about characters like Ezra, Sabine, and Thrawn. The show is very slow-paced which basically means it picked up right where the Mandalorian and rebels did as well as the fact that there won’t be any time skips or jumps. The show introduces fresh new villains as well as one from the Mandalorian who got caught by Ahsoka.

The Most eye-opening villain was Baylen Skoll, a survivor of the Clone Wars. He's as big as Darth Vader and moves, sounds, and looks like Count Dooku. The Fights are terrific and they are Mandalorian quality, which has a decent amount of satisfaction.
