Truthwitch

Truthwitch is the first book in the Witchlands series by Susan Dennard.  It falls under the genres of fantasy and young adult fiction and follows the journey of two unlikely friends, Safiya and Iseult. With Safiya being a Truthwitch, everybody is after her and the two friends, with the help of Prince Merik, leave their old lives behind so they can start a new one for themselves.  Overall, I enjoyed this book and recommend it to anybody who prefer books that revolve around friendships with action and adventure mixed in.

The Outsiders

If you are looking to read a heart-felt book about love, loyalty, and the role of society, then “The Outsiders” by S.E. Hinton is the book for you. One side is the greasers, who are people that feel like the world is against them, but they will protect their own. The socials are a group who have everything handed to them, and they are the rich part of society. There is an ongoing feud between the two factions, and after a social is killed by a greaser, both world start to crumble down. This book gives a great description of how people from different worlds feel the same pain when something tragic happens. I believe that this book is one to read to gain an understanding of how people who may seem so different can actually be the same.

The Vampire Diaries

The heart-warming, nail biting saga of the Vampire Diaries will keep you coming back episode after episode. The Diaries follow the lives of vampire brothers Damon and Stefan Salvatore; human Elena Gilbert along with her family, friends and enemies. The Vampire Diaries are an eight season journey, and will keep you obsessed until the end. It ends in March on the CW, so you can find all seasons on Netflix. You won’t be disappointed.

Shadow of the Colossus Review

Shadow of the Colossus is a strictly boss battle game. There are 16 different “colossi” with each being wildly different from the last. They can walk on two legs just like human or they can fly or swim, but it’s not just battling. Part of the full experience is finding the colossi. You will use your sword and the sun to direct your path to the colossi. When you find a colossus you will need to find a way onto it. This adds a puzzle aspect to the game. This game is rated T for teen for blood and violence and currently costs $39.99. Shadow of the Colossus is a fun experience that I can definitely recommend
