The movie/based on the novel and a recreation of the 70’s film

In the distant future, our gaze is focused on the House Atreides. Paul, the young son of the duke, is having recurring dreams that are very similar to visions. In the midst of this, his family is placed in a very sticky situation. The Emperor, the highest ruling being in their worlds, has gifted them authority over the most important planet in their solar system. On this planet, they are to harvest spice, the ingredient that has made interplanetary travel possible. This, however, was a ploy. The Emperor feels threatened by the House of Atreides and purposefully setting them up for war fading the old rulers, the Harkonnon. While this is happening, Paul is still held by his visions. 

In the first hour, the audience is revealed to the truth of Paul’s creation. His mother comes from a line of creatures only comparable to space witches. They used their knowledge of power transfer to breed a mighty savior. The people of the space planet believe Paul is this savior. In this political frontier, Paul must prove himself and somehow save his family. This becomes increasingly difficult as his family home is attacked during the dead of the night. At this point Paul is faced with two questions: how do I prove myself and how do I save my family?
