Common Purpose is a global not-for-profit organisation that delivers a range of online and in-person leadership programmes for senior leaders, emerging leaders and young people, around the world.

Move Mates is a walking buddy project which makes going out for a walk a reality for people who would otherwise find it difficult to leave their homes. They pair people with a trained, friendly, local volunteer to meet regularly for a walk. These regular walks boost people’s confidence, reduce anxiety and improve physical and mental health outcomes.

LEEDS

Furnace Social Club is a network for local artists, providing community, conversation, and a chance to come together to meet people and spark new collaborations. You need to be aged 18 or over and living or working in Yorkshire to join. Furnace Social Club membership, and all events, are 100% free – and signing up comes with a whole range of benefits.

CATCH stands for ‘Community Action To Create Hope’ and runs a popular youth programme in Harehills, Leeds with over 1000 members providing a range of opportunities for sport, creativity and learning, as well as for volunteering and social action projects. Space2 is an award-winning arts and social change charity based in Gipton, East Leeds. Space2 co-design a myriad of activities, programmes and events with our communities and artists, from large scale drama productions, to regular Men’s Groups and community gardens, that integrate growing, crafting, produce-making and wellbeing.

Left Bank Leeds is a progressive space for creativity, culture and community, set inside a beautiful Grade II-listed former church building. They host a range of events every week, including kids groups, art activities, gigs, choirs, and more! 

Geeks Room is a not-for-profit enterprise based in Armley, Leeds which caters for children aged 8+ to be mentored and learn new skills whilst making new friends and challenging themselves. The largest ethnic minority organisation in the voluntary and community sector in Leeds, Hamara is situated in Beeston, and delivers several different strands of work, including health promotion, youth activities, older people’s services, Saturday supplementary school, learning disabilities, education, and employment and training programmes.
