Phase 3 had their Inquiry today and explored personal hygiene. Students learned which products was used on different parts of the body. Jurassic class, practiced cleaning their teeth and even took part in an experiment to make 'elephant toothpaste'.
In Jurassic class, students prepared for advent, making their own christmas advent calendar with enough circles for each school day.

Welcome to the Jurassic Class, where we are all 'Happy Aspirational Learners'!
This year, we're diving into a journey of discovery. Our first two modules, Who We Are, are all about exploring ourselves, our families, and our unique backgrounds. We'll be looking at our emotions and how they shape our interactions with others.
Along the way, we'll continue with our specialist lessons and engage in enrichment activities designed to help us understand our emotions and build strong social skills. It's going to be a year of fun, discovery, and growth. We can't wait to see what we learn together!
Inquiry Day - 'Show Racism the Red Card'
Today we had an Inquiry day, and our learning about Show Racism the Red Card, which has been entwined with the normal structure of the day. They have learned about how we are all unique but similar in different ways. A major message was that we must be kind and respectful to everyone.

This week in Jurassic class, students had their very own Just Eat.
The classroom became a cafe, students rotated through three roles:
Customer - using chatty sheets to order and then matching coins to their value to pay for their sandwich.
Waiters - taking and relaying orders to the chef.
Chef - listening to the order and using learnt skills to make a sandwich.
