In Tudor class, we are beginning to understand our planet and the living things we share it with. Our latest module, "Sharing the Planet with Living Things," is designed to inspire our students to develop compassion, respect, and empathy for all forms of life.
Throughout this module Tudorclass learners will explore: How our everyday actions impact the environment and creatures 🦋 and we are building friendships that transcend differences, promoting cooperation and mutual understanding 🤝
As part of Tudor classes celebration of 80 years since VE day,the students invited their friends from other classes in the phase to a VE celebration afternoon tea party.
Students in Tudor class made various sandwiches to share at the tea party, wrote their own invitations to their friends and everyone made crowns to wear at their party.A lot of hard work went into making this tea party successful and the students did an amazing job.

Module 4: This module Tudor class will be exploring who or what shares the world with them. We will be investigating how recycling and rubbish impacts our natural environment. What we can do to help our environment and make changes to enable animals and ocean life to live in cleaner, safer environments and how recycling may help protect the living things in our natural world.

Aldan during science learnt the body parts of a horse and helped place the parts together to create a whole horse.

During cooking,Oliver did an amazing job of painting his bread with food colourings and a cotton bud,making a choice from different earth colours.

Ivy really enjoyed creating her earth colours on her toast, she ate lots of toast that she decorated.

Module 3
Our Sensory Story this term is all about our emotions and the lovely book The Colour Monster. We'll explore all of our emotions and how sometimes we are all 'Mixed up' and we don't know why. Using various stages and colours that the monster feels and experiences, we may be able to understand with more confidence our own emotions through songs.
As we delve into the Colour Monster story, we'll develop our IB Learner Profile attributes, becoming Thinkers, taking Risks, finding Balance, and Communicating our emotions in our own unique way.
Tudor class were introduced to the story 'The Colour Monster' and how he feels 'All Mixed up'. We have been cooking and made Lemon shortbread. During music, we have been enjoying and beginning to learn about composition. Our Science lessons have included investigating the forces of 'push and pull,using plungers, balloons and propellers.
We are also learning how to play table cricket and have been focusing on taking turns.. In Horticulture ,we are learning about planting and watering seeds.

Our Sensory Story this term is about the amazing Amelia Earhart. We'll explore her life as an inspirational explorer and her famous motto: "If you want to do it, do it!"
As we delve into her story, we'll develop our IB Learner Profile attributes, becoming Thinkers, taking Risks, finding Balance, and Communicating our ideas in our own unique way.
We have been amazing Risk Takers and Curious Explorers in Tudor class this week: Listening to sound in a variety of ways in the Science room, Painting using an app on the big interactive board, Engaging in the Art room to make blending of colours not only on paper but ourselves, enjoying a pizza that they have made for lunch and learning all about the fireworks.
Aldan is creating colours using an app on the whiteboard,colouring a picture of his choice.
Noah is being Italian and telling us his pizza is amazing.
Oliver is really enjoying talking about fireworks and all the different colours and sounds,
Ciaran wanted to draw Guy Fawkes and was telling us all about the big bonfires.
Harman is very excited about the new Science room, sitting very proudly for his exciting lesson on sound.

Tommy in the Art room, not only liked painting his picture, he liked painting his hands as well.
Lacey throughly enjoyed creating an ambre picture using a variety of colours and blending the colours created new colours.
This week in Tudor class, we have begun functional maths following a number sequence to complete cleaning activities within class.Some students have accessed clubs on a Wednesday afternoon as part of their inclusion and we have also had football club on Wednesday. The students are enjoying a sensory story about Amelia Earhart and her travels around the world.On Monday we had an in class assembly on Poppies and why we Remember the people who died in the World wars.

In Tudor class this week, we have all been celebrating the Festival of Diwali. The students have been making Diwali sun catchers, Having a try at Rangoli art and meditating in the class with various lights and relaxing music. Some of the students are becoming independant during breakfast club and in Science we have been seeing, hearing and feeling sound.
Ciaran is exploring various coloured Rangoli patterns and shapes and filling in the shapes with different colours.
Harman is designing his own rangoli sun catcher.
Lacey really enjoyed mixing the different coloured rice and feeling the rice being poured on her hands,she also made her own Rangoli art on the tuff tray.
Noah is helping pour the mixed coloured rice into bottles for our very own coloured monster story for Performing Arts.

Tudor class this week have been working really hard on a combination of functional maths activities, sharing and taking turns in a variety of learning activities, practising our basket ball skills and enjoying visitis from other friends and from specialist therapists.
Harman is using his visual 1-5 to help him understand how to clean the windows in a functional maths lesson.
Oliver is helping his class friend by touching the screen which made the rabbit jump up, which made his friend giggle.

We have begun our Chritmas production line, it is very busy in Tudor class and all of the Tudor elves have been constructing or creating various Christmas items in readiness for our Inquery day.
We have also had an exciting exploration of the new Forest school where each student really enjoyed the hammock and watching the world go by, they were very relaxed.

Tudor class have excelled themselves this week, working together to contribute to a wonderful Phase 3 Christmas Market.Selling many of their wares that they have made to create a wonderful ambience of sight,smells and taste. I couldn't be more proud of how hard the students have worked this term, using many unknown skills and learning new skills throughout the weeks. Well done everyone.

It's fascinating to hear our hearts.The students felt the rhythm and are learning about how it pumps blood around our bodies.

Alexandra is learning to spread chocolate spread onto her pitta bread, she is making Brazilian sweet pizza.

This week Ciaran made Curried Rice Cups during cooking
Lacey is mixing all of the spices that went into the Curried Rice Cups.
Harman is mixing the rice and spices together to make the Curried Rice Cups.
Tommy is checking we have enough cup cake cases for his mixture.
Alexandra iscracking and beating the eggs together for the Curried Rice Cup recipe.
Oliver was very brave and wanted to be a risk taker- he tried mixing the beaten eggs together.
Ciaran explored the Horticulture area and then picked some tomotoes for his peers in class for snack time.
Jonathan wanted to water the tomatoes to make sure there was enough for snack time.
The Great Wall of China
In Tudor class we have explored various parts of Asia, this also included prayer flags which the students were very excited about. On Monday they painted various patterns on Paper towels in white paint, today each of them used pippettes to squeeze watered down paints onto the white paint, and watched the paint roll off and soak into the paper towel.This created a beautiful effect and the students were mesmerised by the reaction.
