Term 4 Explorers
The phase was transformed into different lands to represent ‘The faraway tree’ by Enid Blyton. Waterfall pathway students organised and facilitated activities for students in the Stream and Brook pathway to explore and enjoy. There was a Land of Marvel - allowing students to be wowed by kernels turning into popcorn and sugar into candy floss. The Land of Dance allowed students to explore movement whereas the Land of Music led to exploration of rhythm. In the Land of dreams, there were lights, bubbles, calm music and students made cloud dough. In the Land of mindfulness, there were calming activities, sensory exploration as well as foot spas. In the Land of creativity, they participated in graffiti art., they explore Lastly, in the Land of meditation, there were opportunities to participate in yoga. All students had a fantastic day, demonstrating great responsibility and communication skills and ability to be flexible as they transitioned to different classes and their normal timetabled day.

A real life explorer visited - like Jacques Cousteau, she was looking for the intriguing underwater world. She was a long way from the coast, not sure I trust her navigation!
