As part of our citizenship, we also looked at Individual Liberty and what it meant, we found out that it is part of the British Values and something that we may not have had if soldiers had not fought and died for our freedom in the World Wars.

Students worked collaboratively to sort pictures into Christianity and Islam - they also looked at each religions commandments and found both similarities and differences.

Students began to learn how to use Atlas' after watching and listening to a video to learn about where Islam originated.
They found the name of the continent using the contents page. Then used the Atlas to help name the surrounding countries.
We found out which countries practice mainly Islamic and Christian beliefs.
Using an Atlas, the students labelled the Capital city of Saudi Arabia and the surrounding seas. our learning involved labelling the Rivers also, but there is no permanent river in the country. Our teachers learned something new today too!
