Some of Saxons enjoyed a walk to the local shops, where they helped to find items needed in the shop, following a shopping list. We then went to the self serve till to pay for our shopping & each of the pupils took it in turns to scan the items and pack them in the shopping bag. We left the shop and found somewhere to sit by the village shops and Saxons had an ice cream & drink, before walking back to school.
Saxon Class have appreciated more opportunities to take our learning outside in the warmer weather this term. We have been in the garden area following key directions during Horticulture lessons and had a great time on the swing & trim trail equipment on the playgrounds during sensory regulation breaks.
