This module in Horticulture lessons with Kirsty, Saxon Class have been experiencing learning in different environments. We have been making the most of our outdoor spaces and have been planting different seeds into pots & trays. The pupils have been following key symbolised & verbal instructions to complete activities during the lesson.
During Write Dance in class, Saxon pupils have been enjoying exploring a variety of media including shaving foam, cornflour, rice, cereal, paints and pens/pencils. We have been working on developing our fine motor skills and dexterity in using different writing implements and also developing listening & attention skills throughout the session.
Saxon Class have been using microscope's during our Science lessons with Lisa this term. We have been looking at different textures, fibres and objects through the microscope and exploring how this works.
During our weekly visits to the school library, Saxons have continued to enjoy choosing and sharing favoured books with the adults in class; having some 1-1 reading time and also sharing sensory stories in small groups & exploring story props, which is always great fun!
