This module in Saxon Class, we have been learning about communication through time and linking this to our emotions. Our sensory story this term 'Augustus and his smile' has helped Saxon students to explore & communicate their feelings through music, sensory tactile items and visuals. Saxon class have been using their individual communication systems to indicate what they would like to play during turn taking & sharing activities. We have had great fun playing games, loved exploring messy & tactile items in sensory trays and continued to develop gross motor skills on the trim trail equipment on the playground.
Saxon Class loved the visit from the fire brigade last week! They had great fun exploring the fire engine and of course sitting inside the engine too :)
Saxons have been working hard in P.E this module, enjoying accessing the climbing equipment in the gym and developing their skills in gymnastics.
