Charlie practised his cutting skills with a croissant during our French lesson
After looking at the Eiffel Tower, he used bricks and his superb fine motor skills to make his own tower.
Viktor loved having the French flag draped over him to play games - and throwing the red, white, and blue pom poms.
Georgie also saw himself as an architect and made his own Eiffel Tower during our French lesson.
Maths skills are important to Roman Class - they help us to have fun with counting on the whiteboard and our ipads, match sets of objects to numerals. We have sand numbers for our visually impaired students to feel, huge jelly ones that go on our light board and everyday we clap the number of students, find the correct Numicon and listen to number rhymes. Number skills also help us to request how many of something we want!
We love reading in Roman Class. Every day we choose books for the adults to read to us, or we work on our comprehension skills find objects in the book using symbols to communicate our answers. We sit really well and listen. Our library is a place we love to go and visit and choose lots more books for the adults to read with us.
Roman Class students had fun with communication, maths, physical and fine motor targets, as well as identifying colours to make requests. Hitting all the targets and having great fun whilst doing so!
Following physio targets of sustained walking and lifting arms are more engaging when you are hunting for Easter eggs.
