Roman Class access an individual needs curriculum and objectives are interwoven into the students’ individual profiles (ILPs) across all curriculum areas. (Cognitive, Communication, Physical - both fine and motor, Environmental Control Technology - ECT, and Personal, Social, Emotional, Well-Being & Self-Help - PSEWS - this is collectively known as the Brook Curriculum).
The curriculum is broken down into very small steps and focussed on sensory stimulation, physical needs, and personal care needs as well as cognition and communication.
Very often the target will be met in a variety of lessons including specialist art, rebound, science, drama and horticulture.
