European Language Day
Roman Class had a fantastic day yesterday, as 27th September is the European Day of Languages. We went on a virtual trip around the Mediterranean sampling foods from Greece, Spain, France and Italy and listening/dancing to music from those countries. We all had either a smell or taste and most of us liked them... Fred did not! :)
We also heard our teachers greet us in the language and then say goodbye - Oscar tried very hard to say "Ola". In the afternoon we went on another virtual trip - this time we went to France's capital - we caught the Eurostar, went on a trip down the Seine with croissants and coffe to satisfy our hunger. We then looked at the stained glass windows in Notre Dame, "saw" the Eiffel Tower and played parachute games with the French flag. Our trip finished by watching a Disneyland Paris parade. All this in a day... and still back in time for buses!
Enjoy looking at our photos...
