This term we have had a lot of fun exploring in different ways. Our transdisciplinary theme of 'How the world works' has led us to think about the different places we could go to explore and we have thought about how people have opened up different parts of the globe.
We have looked at the life of Jacques Cousteau through the story of Manfish. We have been able to understand that without Jacques we would not be able to see into the underwater worlds.
Our maths focuses this term have been on counting and cardinality and comparison. We have used a range of manipulatives to support our learning in addition to looking at real life maths. We definitely would know if someone took one of our Easter eggs.
In addition to our explorations in English and Maths we have been exploring in our art, cooking, geography and much more. We loved our phase day when we could all come together and try the different worlds of the Faraway tree.
