Course Description:

Student-Led Advisory (SLA) is a leadership training class that allows upperclassmen to plan and teach relatable, high-quality advisory lessons for a freshman Advisory class. This class is only open to rising juniors and seniors (current 10th and 11th graders).

Under the guidance of the Advisory Program Coordinator(s), students will use their own freshman experiences as their main resource when facilitating lessons to their Advisory class. Particular emphasis will be placed on continual improvement of planning and presentation skills through self-reflection. Students who register for SLA will also be enrolled in the Advisory Program Coordinators’ Advisory class. Interested students can email or see Ms. Katie Ling or Ms. Marcie Sado Waki in N-104.
