Nursing Services 1 is a third year course, designed to develop and apply the skills necessary for a career in nursing. This Level 3 course is specific to the Nursing Services program of study. Upon completion of this course, a proficient student will be able to assess, monitor, evaluate, and report patient/client health status, apply safety and wellness protocols and communicate effectively with the patient and family members. In addition, students will have the opportunity to become OSHA 10-hour General Industry (Healthcare) certified.
