Communications and Advancement - SLT updates
May 2021
On May 3rd the ISP Strategic Interest & Review Teams met to provide feedback and suggest additional steps forward on the strategic projects above.

Goal 7 - Marketing video (1 minute) completed May 2021.
April 2021
Goal 2 - We plan to utilise the WorkAdventure platform for two additional events - Alumni Reunion (May 2021) and Student-Led Conference (June 2021).
Goal 2 - Collaborating with University Counselling for alumni speakers for Grade 11 Q&A (topic - university pathways).
Goal 3 - Collaborating with Arts Department for 2021 Virtual Vernissage website. Additional virtual websites are also being created for Music Soiree, PYP Exhibition, etc.
Goal 3 - Website content continues to be updated, including 2021 Celebrating Student Learning initiative.
Goal 4 - We have continued to publish alumni newsletters and to organize alumni-themed discussions, including social justice (May 2021)
Goal 6 - We identified use for ISP Gives funds to support contracting a speaker for the Student Learning Conference (June 2021).
Goal 7 - Webinar Series "IB is ISP" completed its 4th webinar. All webinars, as well as 'bite sized' videos are available to be viewed on website - https://www.isparis.edu/webinars
Goal 7 - An article was written and is to be published in Expat Pro, a French expatriate website next month.
March 2021
Goal 2 - Advancement, together with University and Career Counselling, launched the 2021 WorkAdventure Career Day on 17 March, an interactive platform with 17 career ambassadors from over 7 countries. This format is being studied for use in other areas (alumni reunion, orientation day...).
Goal 3 - Website content update process well underway (admissions and curriculum pages updated).
Goal 4 - Alumni have been presented with shared learning ideas for Toucan Tech platform; initial goal for 3 participants sharing their skills.
Goal 7 - Webinar Series "IB is ISP" launched with three one-hour long webinars completed to date. The last webinar in the series will take place on April 13th.
Goal 7 - An initial marketing plan has been completed and presented to SLT and the Advancement and Development Board Committee.
Goal 7 - Article published in International Teacher Magazine (ITM - March 2021).
Goal 7 - Began draft work on marketing video for Semester 2.
January 2021
On January 20th the ISP Strategic Interest & Review Teams met to provide feedback and suggest additional steps forward on the strategic projects above.

December 2020
Goal 1 - New Parent Survey information was analysed and presented to the SLT, including recommendations of strategic actions for the next admissions cycle.
Goal 2 - Innovative new structure in planning phase for Career Day in March 2021. Potential to use new platform and interactivity for other admissions/external relations needs.
Goal 3 - Began website content audit and review process. The PLT and SSLT have been asked for comments and contributions, and work has begun on the admissions pages.
Goal 4 - A Sustainable Development Project Zoom meeting was held on 13 December. Alumni newsletters average one per fortnight.
Goal 6 - The ISP Gives November FUNdraiser is complete, earning EUR 3030 in total proceeds.
Goal 7 - A draft marketing plan is underway and will be presented at January Advancement and Fundraising Board Committee meeting.
Goal 7 - New virtual conference series planned for 2021: 4 topics, 2 each in French and English from January to April. It will be open and marketed to general public and the panels will include ISP staff, alumni and parents.
IMPORTANT
November - Due to additional expectations with COVID-19 protocols / Lockdown 2 and Home / Online Learning requirements some strategic projects have now been 'paused'.
Project 5. - This project timeline will be modified: conceptualisation of centralised register only in 2020 / 2021; then design and implementation in 2021 / 2022 .
Project 8. - Paused and on hold for this school year. Strategic conversations remain ongoing but specific growth areas will need to be defined later due to COVID limitations; HLP, in particular, is also paused until 2021 / 2022 (due to COVID uncertainty and the planning timeline required).
October 2020
Goal 1 - Added live event data to all Google calendar entries, facilitating information access for all parents. Sent New Parent Survey to all new families, with specific parent portal, virtual orientation/tours and communications questions within.
Goal 2 - Meeting 1 with university counsellor, updated School Profile for 2020-2021. Larger strategic discussions planned for November 2020.
Goal 3 - Added multimedia Matterport tags to virtual tour, extending the experience to include videos, images and documentation for student learning.
Goal 4 - World Teacher Day Alumni Zoom on 5 October; Arts and Alumni Zoom scheduled for 3 November.
Goal 6 - ISP Gives and November FUNdraiser website, marketing and payment portals complete. ISP Gives bookmark support designed and printed.
Goal 7 - Virtual open houses planned with Lennen and Marymount International Schools. Ongoing strategic discussions with Brexit players, including banks.
September 2020
Goal 1 - Introduced new, synced Google Calendar for all school events.
Goal 3 - Completed ISP virtual tour of all three campuses, including aerial 360 degree views of all location landscapes.
Goal 4 - September Alumni newsletter published; invitation to World Teacher Day Alumni Zoom on 5 October.
Goal 6 - ISP Gives logo and branding was determined.
Goal 6 - ISP Gives November FUNdraiser scope and programme decided (Head of School and Principal Challenge).
