Admissions - Tracking Progress Towards New Budget Targets for 2020/2021

Important Note

The original budget targets were set between January and March and approved by the Board just as we went into lockdown. It was inevitable that an effect of the global pandemic would be a significant drop in student numbers so a revised budget with more realistic targets was set. The comparisons being made here are with the revised budget but the original targets have also been included.

Update for Board Meeting 17th May 2021

The final whole year enrollment for 2020/2021 came in at 706. Due to leavers in during the year and the graduation of a relatively large grade 12 the year -end roll of students who could potentially return in 2021/2022 is under 600 and we're currently expecting a re-registration figure of around 463 in September 2021.

We're now carefully tracking the figures for 2021/2022 and signs are that the new registration projection is up on last year at the same time but not as high as the year before.
